Nintendo, together with Laced Records, has just announced the release of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild soundtrack as a 2LP and 8LP vinyl box set — arriving June 2026.
The music of Breath of the Wild, composed by Manaka Kataoka, Yasuaki Iwata, Hajime Wakai, and Soshi Abe, is notable for not shying away from exploring new musical textures but also embracing the classic themes of the series. With over four hours of music, this marks the first time a soundtrack of a game produced by Nintendo has been commercially released on the format outside of Japan.
The 8-LP collection offers a form of storytelling through its 130 remastered tracks, with each of the eight discs sequenced around a theme. Each side of every disc reflects a different aspect of the players’ adventures in the game — from exploring Hyrule to freeing the Divine Beasts from Calamity Ganon.
The set includes alternating blue and gold splatter vinyl discs, each with printed inner sleeves and spined inserts, all housed within a rigid dual slipcase. The box set is priced at USD 194.99 or roughly PHP 11,500.
Meanwhile, the 2-LP edition includes 34 selected tracks, featuring fan favorites such as “Overworld (Day),” “Great Fairy Fountain,” and “Hyrule Castle.” The double LP comes on blue-and-white marble vinyl, housed in a wide-spined outer sleeve with a printed inner sleeve. Both releases include archival artwork done by the game’s development team. The set is priced at USD 49.99 or roughly PHP 3,000.
The sets can be purchased through Laced Records, My Nintendo Store, while the standard-edition black vinyl versions will be available at select retailers. Nintendo Switch Online members can also experience the full digital soundtrack on the Nintendo Music app, available to download on the App Store and Google Play Store.
