Lionsgate and Universal Pictures’ Michael, the highly anticipated biopic chronicling Michael Jackson’s rise to pop superstardom, has released its full official trailer.

Directed by Antoine Fuqua (Training Day, The Equalizer), the film is a cinematic deep dive into his early days as part of the Jackson 5 to his blockbuster solo career. Set to the King of Pop’s beloved hits “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough” and “Billie Jean,” the two-and-a-half-minute trailer offers a glimpse of the defining moments in the King of Pop’s legendary career with Jafaar Jackson portraying his uncle in an uncannily accurate performance.

Additionally, the trailer also highlights Jackson’s family life, with Colman Domingo as Joe Jackson and Nia Long as Katherine Jackson. Notable moments in the trailer also include Jackson’s iconic looks during the Off the Wall, Thriller, and Bad eras, as well as his live performances and his signature moonwalking.

The film arrives in Philippine cinemas on April 22, 2026.
