It’s time to strike a pose and let your body move to the music. The official trailer for The Devil Wears Prada 2 has dropped, set to Madonna’s 1990 chart-topping hit, “Vogue.”

“Vogue,” which has become closely associated with the film franchise, was licensed for the soundtrack of the first film and plays during the fashion montage scenes. Blending dance-pop with house music, the song introduced the ballroom “voguing” style and culture to mainstream audiences. It has since become a celebration of fashion, pop culture, self-expression, and the LGBTQIA+ community. The song appears on the soundtrack album, I’m Breathless: Music from and Inspired by the Film Dick Tracy.

The 2006 original, based on the 2003 novel of the same name, developed a cult status thanks to its iconic performances, appeal to fashion enthusiasts, and being often regarded as a comfort film for many. It follows Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway), a young college graduate who lands a job as an assistant to Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep), the powerful editor-in-chief of the fictional fashion magazine Runway, while navigating the glitz, glamour, and challenges of the fashion world.

The highly anticipated sequel follows Priestly as she grapples with the decline of the traditional magazine publishing industry. She also faces off against Emily Charlton (Emily Blunt), her former assistant from the first film, who has risen to become a powerful executive at a luxury group.

The sequel sees returning stars Streep, Hathaway, Blunt, Stanley Tucci, Tracie Thoms, and Tibor Feldman, joined by newcomers Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, B.J. Novak, and Pauline Chalamet. Lady Gaga is also cast in an undisclosed role.
