Kanye West continues his strange antics with the unannounced release of Bully, a new album presented as a short film directed by him and starring his son Saint.

After a string of crashouts and meltdowns on X, the controversial rapper has been digging his own grave lately, targeting various artists and musicians he has previously worked or competed with. West pulled the brakes on the controversial online statements and made an unexpected return to music.

On X, West released the album as a 30-minute black-and-white short film with different versions — a “screening version,” a “post Hype version” and a “post post Hype version.” It was edited by music video director and record producer Hype Williams and featured his typography. The film showcases the rapper’s nine-year-old son, Saint, squaring off against wrestlers in the ring with a mallet. According to Variety, the wrestlers featured include Tiger Mask, El Desperado, YOH, and Toru Yano from the New Japan Pro-Wrestling promotion.

The official track list and production credits for the album, as well as a standard rollout and release, remain unclear. However, it has been revealed that the album is currently unfinished. West stated that, as a test-run to gauge his listeners’ reactions, half of the vocals, originally created using artificial intelligence (AI), will be re-recorded by him because he now hates AI.

West also mentioned on X that Donda 2 will arrive next, and asked his followers whether they would prefer Vultures 3 or Donda 3 to be released soon.
