Former Little Mix member Jesy Nelson has announced a new intimate documentary miniseries, Jesy Nelson: Life After Little Mix, chronicling her journey through pregnancy and motherhood, as well as life after departing the girl group, coming soon to Amazon Prime Video.

On Instagram, the English singer shared ther excitement tht filimg has begun for the project, saying, “[…] Letting the cameras in wasn’t an easy decision for us as it’s such a deeply personal time but I knew I wanted to tell my story in my own words. We opened the doors fully and I’m really looking forward to letting you all in as I navigate my way to becoming a first time mum to our beautiful baby girls Ocean and Story.”

Jesy Nelson: Life After Little Mix will focus on the challenges she faced during her high-risk pregnancy and what life has been like since departing from Little Mix five years ago. Aside from opening up about the vulnerability, joy, and fears of expecting twins, and sharing the roller coaster of emotions she experienced, she will also confront her past and the life-altering decision to leave Little Mix, the group she rose to fame with.

Formed in 2011 on the reality show The X Factor, Little Mix was named the overall winner of series eight. The group continued as a trio, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall — but has been on hiatus since wrapping up their Confetti Tour in 2022.

Little Mix are known for their songs “Shout Out to my Ex” and “Black Magic.” Nelson left the group in 2020, citing the toll fame had taken on her mental health. Since leaving the group, Nelson has released two solo singles: “Bad Thing” in 2023 and “Mine” in 2024.
