“Come on, Harry, we wanna say goodnight to you.” But this time, it’s a congratulations. Harry Styles completed the 2025 Berlin Marathon on September 21 with a personal best of 2 hours, 59 minutes, and 13 seconds (2:59:13), running under the name “Sted Sarandos.”
The Berlin Marathon is regarded as the fastest marathon route in the world, and finishing under three hours is a milestone coveted by most marathon runners.
The Grammy Award winner ran at an average pace of 6:50 per mile, joining more than 55,000 participants in the race. He sported a headband, sunglasses, a blue Adidas track jacket, black shorts, and pink Nike ZoomX Alphafly 3 sneakers.
At the finish line, Styles took a photo with Richard Whitehead, a two-time Paralympic gold medalist in the 200-meter dash.
Kenya’s Sabastian Sawe won the men’s race, finishing in 2 hours, 2 minutes, and 16 seconds (2:02:16), while fellow Kenyan Rosemary Wanjiru triumphed in the women’s race with a time of 2 hours, 21 minutes, and 5 seconds (2:21:05).
This was Styles’ second marathon of the year, following his impressive run in Tokyo in March, where he finished with a respectable time of 3 hours, 24 minutes, and 7 seconds (3:24:07).
Since 1974, the Berlin Marathon has been held annually on the last weekend of September. The event includes multiple races over the distance of 42.195 km (26.2 mi) for elite runners, public participants, wheelchair, and handcycle competitors, to name a few.
Styles appears to be gearing up for a grand return to music in early 2026. While no official announcements about his comeback have been made, fans remain hopeful for new releases, eagerly anticipating music following his Harry’s House era.
