“Going back to where it all began.” Miley Cyrus harks back to her Disney Channel days with the announcement of The Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special.

The “Flowers” singer says in an official statement that the show and the character will always be part of who she is. “What started as a TV show became a shared experience that shaped my life and the lives of so many fans, and I’ll always be thankful for that connection.”

The anniversary special is Cyrus’ way of celebrating and thanking the fans who have shared a deep connection with the Disney Channel series. Hosted by Alex Cooper of the Call Her Daddy podcast, the special will be filmed in front of a live studio audience and feature an interview with Cyrus as she revisits some of the show’s iconic moments. Additionally, it will include never-before-seen footage and recreations of the show’s sets.

Hannah Montana debuted on Disney Channel on March 24, 2006, with a total of 100 episodes across four seasons. It centers on Cyrus playing a dual role as teenage girl Miley Stewart and the titular pop star alter ego. The cast also features Emily Osment, Mitchel Musso, Jason Earles, and Cyrus’ dad, Billy Ray Cyrus.

Apart from the special, the streaming platform will also launch the Hannah Montana collection, featuring a continuous stream of the show’s entirety and the films Hannah Montana: The Movie and Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: The Best of Both Worlds Concert.

The anniversary special premieres on March 24, 2026, on Disney+ Philippines.
