PUBG has announced “a new battle takes flight” as G-DRAGON teams up with PUBG: Battlegrounds and PUBG Mobile for a highly anticipated crossover, bringing exclusive in-game content and special events to fans worldwide starting September 10 on PC, September 18 on consoles, and September 19 on mobile.
A teaser for the project was unveiled on September 1 (PH Time) during the K-pop superstar’s concert in Las Vegas. In addition to the digital rollout, a special offline event celebration will take place in Seongsu, Seoul, South Korea.
KRAFTON, the developer of PUBG, confirmed that more information on the battlefield-exclusive content will be disclosed in the coming weeks. Fans can look forward to reveals of exclusive skins, weapon wraps, lobby themes, emotes, and even music to be added to the game.
Known globally as the “King of K-pop,” G-DRAGON (Kwon Jiyong) first rose to fame in 2006 as the leader of BigBang, one of the most successful boy bands in history. His influence extends beyond music into fashion, art, and brand collaborations, cementing his reputation as a cultural powerhouse.
The crossover also marks another milestone in G-DRAGON’s return to the global stage. He recently performed in the Philippines last May 17 with his ‘Übermensch‘ tour at the Mall of Asia Arena, thrilling local fans after a years-long absence from live performances.
