Film Concerts PH is set to hold an epic musical tribute experience featuring the legendary scores of maestros John Williams and Hans Zimmer in Film Music Legends: The Scores of John Williams & Hans Zimmer, happening on January 14 and 15, 2026, at The Theatre at Solaire.
Kicking off 2026 with a bang, the full-orchestral musical experience brings to life some of cinema’s most celebrated scores and will be performed live by the Filharmonika Orchestra under Maestro Gerard Salonga, with guest vocals by Bituin Escalante — often regarded as one of the Philippines’ best female vocalists since the turn of the 21st century.
For decades, Williams and Zimmer have defined the sound of modern cinema, setting the standard for sweeping, unforgettable scores that elevate blockbuster spectacles. Williams is renowned for crafting legendary and timeless themes for Star Wars, Superman, Harry Potter, and Steven Spielberg’s critically acclaimed films, such as Jaws, Jurassic Park, and Indiana Jones. All of these have shaped the cinematic experiences of moviegoers across generations.
Zimmer, on the other hand, has revolutionized film scoring, creating sounds that truly redefine the meaning of “epic.” His musical genius shines through in the music scores for The Dark Knight trilogy, Gladiator, Inception, Interstellar, Dune, and, most recently, his work on F1.
