DC Studios’ ‘Supergirl’ Soars Into BGC With Shield & Shine Street Experience

Dove teams up with DC Studios’ Supergirl for a special one-day experiential event, Shield & Shine Street, at Central Square, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, on Saturday, June 27, 2026.
Flying high on the message “Even Superheroes Need Protection,” the event features interactive activations, prizes, product discovery, and an exclusive screening experience.
The experience is entirely free. However, the first 100 visitors to complete the event stamp card can catch an exclusive screening of Supergirl.
Directed by Craig Gillespie, the film follows Kara as she celebrates her 23rd birthday with her dog, Krypto. She meets a young girl named Ruthye (Eve Ridley), and together they embark on a quest for revenge and justice.
Like Kara Zor-El/Supergirl on her own journey, the immersive carnival experience invites guests to embark on their own path toward healthier, shinier hair, with games and curated prizes that bring a heroic spirit to life.
Thanks to the newest Dove Ferulic UV Repair & Glow line, a damage-expert hair care collection designed to repair, protect, and add glow to sun-exposed hair. Hair is shielded from UV damage and fibers are repaired, leaving it up to 8x shinier and stronger with up to 70 hours of sun protection.
The Shield & Shine Street is open for visitors from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Supergirl is now showing in Philippine cinemas.
