Doja Cat is set to cement her place as a horror icon in Fortnite‘s annual Halloween event, Fortnitemares, by appearing as the antagonist NPC — Mother of Thorns. The event is officially live and will run through November 11.
The collaboration launched on October 9 with the drop of her Icon Series skins. During a live Twitch stream, she debuted her new persona, battling players and showcasing outfit customizations in real time.

The Doja Cat Bundle includes the Mother of Thorns and Doja Cat outfits (each with multiple styles, including LEGO versions). It also features Doja’s Claw Swords (pickaxe), the Agora Wings and Scarlet Wings back blings, the Mirrored Mother loading screen, and the music tracks (or emotes) “Agora Hills” and “Woman,” among others.
Additionally, Doja will serve as the boss NPC in the Reload mode’s new map, Nitemare Island, which launched on October 10. The bundle can be purchased on the Fortnite Shop.

Players must seek out and defeat the Mother of Thorns to complete key quests in the event. She can be found spawning near Freaky Fields, Gourdy Gate, and southwest of Supernova Academy. Upon defeat, she drops the Mythic Thorn Ripper and can potentially be hired as an NPC ally for the remainder of the match.
The horror event also features various horror icons across films and television, such as Jason from Friday the 13th, Ghost Face from Scream, Wednesday Addams from Wednesday and The Addams Family, and Scooby-Doo.
