There’s no better way to ring in the launch of Billboard Philippines than with the Philippine music industry’s most exciting names decked out in “rock chic.” While leather and chains might be the first thing that comes to mind, denim was the standout style staple of the night.

Local music artists and industry executives alike arrived with their best interpretations of the theme to Whitespace Manila on October 15 to celebrate the arrival of music’s most influential voice. Three guests in particular stood out, coming in with denim as their weapon of choice — these were Arthur Miguel, Ena Mori, and Janine Teñoso.

In tune with rock’s spirit of rebellion and fearlessness, the trio, all dressed in GUESS Originals, were bold and blue in their execution — either matching denim with denim or mixing it up with a wide color palette.

Miguel — who is most known for his single “Lihim” — put on loose cargo-style denim jeans, black shoes, a colorful striped top, a cream jacket, and spectacles.

Ena Mori opted for an even looser outfit throughout: denim jacket on denim jeans, a black scarf fixed like a tie, and plaid fabric along the waist. The “VIVID” singer also went on to win “Best Dressed” that evening, along with Zild and Jolina Magdangal.

Teñoso was similarly clad in denim-on-denim with appropriate contrast by incorporating different shades of the fabric, and paired these with black boots to emphasize the denim’s look.

Miguel, Mori, and Teñoso joined other guests like SB19, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Jolina Magdangal, BINI, and more to celebrate the launch of Billboard‘s latest international edition. The night — which saw the reveal of Billboard Philippines‘ debut print covers, digital website, and media channels — also saw special opening performances by Jia The Menace and KZ Tandingan, as well as closing DJ sets by Motherbasss, Miaow, and Sky Dominique.
