Charli XCX‘s The Moment has finally revealed its star-studded lineup of actors.

The news was announced by Charli herself, revealing the star-studded lineup of talent involved in the highly anticipated feature film, which stars Kylie Jenner in her acting debut, Alexander Skarsgård, Rachel Senott, Kate Berlant, Rosanna Arquette, Jamie Demetriou, Arielle Dombasle, Hailey Benton Gates, Trew Mullen, Mel Ottenberg, Richard Perez, Isaac Powell, Rish Shah, Tish Weinstock, Michael Workéyè, as well as fellow musicians Shygirl and A.G. Cook.

Directed by renowned photographer and director Aidan Zamiri, The Moment is based on an original idea by Charli, with a screenplay written by Zamiri and Bertie Brandes. The film also features original music composed by A.G. Cook, and was produced by Charli (under her Studio365 label) and David Hinojosa, set to be released under beloved film company A24. The premise of the film centers on a mockumentary revolving around a pop star gearing up to lead her first headlining tour in an arena, with Charli also set to star in the lead role.

The Moment marks the latest pivot of the beloved electronic-pop musician in the realm of filmmaking, following her recent acting debut with Pete Ohs‘ Erupcja, which debuted at the recent Toronto International Film Festival. Charli also starred in Julia Jackman’s 100 Nights of Hero, which debuted at the Venice Film Festival, and is set to close the London Film Festival next week, while her appearance in Greg Arakki’s I Want Your Sex is also set to premiere soon.

Though no official release date for The Moment has been announced, the film is set to be released in cinemas worldwide next year.
