Fresh from completing his mandatory military service in Korea, RM of BTS has been named the official ambassador for Samsung Art TVs, bringing his passion for visual art to the brand and its global audience.
The collaboration highlights Samsung’s commitment to accessibility in the arts, with the South Korean rapper-singer serving as a bridge between fans and the art world, inspiring a new generation to engage with visual creativity.
In line with his appreciation for the arts, RM expressed his excitement, saying, “As someone who finds deep inspiration and comfort in art, I’m honored to partner with Samsung to share my journey and love for visual creativity. Samsung Art TVs, part of the brand’s lifestyle TV lineup, combine cutting-edge display technology with artistic expression. serving as immersive platforms that bring art to life. Best known for The Frame, these TVs transform into digital art displays when not in use.
Through the Samsung Art Store, a subscription-based service featuring over 3,500 high-resolution 4K artworks from world-renowned museums and galleries, users can access curated content, including insights, reflections, and personal commentary from the K-pop artist.
As part of his role as global ambassador, RM will also appear at Art Basel, one of the world’s premier international art fairs held in Basel, Switzerland. This year’s edition will be held from June 19 to June 22. He will host a special session on contemporary art, collecting, and the importance of visual storytelling.
