Jin of BTS is now a luxury brand ambassador.
On July 8, French jewellery and watch brand FRED Jewelry announced the K-pop icon — real name Kim Seok-Jin — as their first global ambassador. “As a true generational symbol, he has made a global impact with his talent and personality, continuing to inspire millions of fans worldwide,” FRED stated on their website, announcing Jin’s appointment. “Both considerate and committed, with a perpetual smile and a great sense of humor, the eternal lover of life perfectly embodies the spirit of Maison FRED.”

“Jin’s radiant personality and contemporary, casual chic style chimes with the modernity and individuality of Maison FRED creations,” they further stated. “His collaboration with The Sunshine Jeweler promises to shine with a unique sparkle.”

In other news, Jin was also appointed as the torchbearer for South Korea at the 2024 Paris Olympics, happening from July 26 to August 11. Meanwhile, he was officially discharged from his mandatory military service last June 12, becoming the first BTS member to do so.
