BTS’ Fantasy Webnovel ‘7FATES: CHAKHO’ Gets English Print Release
The hit BTS-inspired fantasy webnovel makes its official English debut in a deluxe hardcover edition.

The BTS-inspired fantasy webnovel 7FATES: CHAKHO will be published in English for the first time by Ize Press. The standalone hardcover edition will include the complete story along with exclusive photos featuring the BTS members — priced at USD 35 or roughly PHP 2,000.
7FATES: CHAKHO follows seven young men, based on the BTS members, who form a hunting party known as the Chakho to combat deadly creatures called the Beom in the corrupt city of Sin-si. Drawing inspiration from Korean folklore and the Chakhogapsa tiger hunters of the Joseon Dynasty, the story explores destiny, brotherhood, and survival in a world plagued by chaos.
The Chakho members and their BTS counterparts are: Zeha (Jungkook), Haru (Jimin), Dogeon (RM), Hwan (Jin), Hosu (j-hope), Jooan (V), and Cein (SUGA).
Originally released digitally in January 2022, the webnovel has garnered more than 5.1 million reads on Wattpad in English and Spanish. On Webtoon, it has attracted an additional 1.6 million views among Indonesian and Thai readers. The series has also been translated into 10 languages worldwide.
Additionally, an 11-minute anime short film, written and directed by Shin Wakabayashi and produced by CloverWorks, was released in April and features an original story.
The novel is also tied to the fantasy comic of the same name, with the entire comic series available in print through Ize Press.
