BINI are finally releasing their official lightstick.
On September 23, the Nation’s Girl Group posted on their social media a short teaser video, revealing that they are set to finally come out with their very own official lightstick. In the video, a box decorated with the BINI type and flower logo was shown, emblazoned with the words “Official Light Stick.”
It is scheduled to be released this coming October. At the time of the announcement, further details such as pricing, shipping, and more have yet to be announced. Watch this space for updates.
This is not the first time the eight-member P-pop unit came out with a lightstick-like piece of merchandise. They previously released a limited edition BINI wand as part of the first wave of official goods following the launch of their very own website. The wand, alongside the likes of shirts, stickers, photocards, and more, were released as part of the group’s celebration of their third anniversary.
The release of BINI’s first official lightstick comes ahead of their sold-out, three-day Grand BINIverse concert, happening this November at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City from November 16 to 18. It will serve as the follow-up to their initial, three-day run of BINIverse concerts at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City last June. All dates were also sold out.
Last month, BINI, alongside fellow P-pop frontrunners SB19, were chosen by Billboard Philippines to be awarded the Voice of Asia award at Billboard Korea‘s Billboard K Power 100 event in Seoul. This award was bestowed upon them in order to honor their groundbreaking contributions to Filipino music and their unwavering championing of P-pop on the global stage.
BINI are set to perform at Billboard Philippines: Mainstage — the one-year anniversary celebration concert of Billboard Philippines. Happening this October 15 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, they will be joined by SB19, Sarah Geronimo, Gary Valenciano, Dilaw, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Sandwich, and more.
