Beabadoobee is releasing a fifth anniversary vinyl edition of her debut album Fake It Flowers — a Bad World Exclusive release featuring an orange-and-yellow daisy and gypsophila design and a pull-out poster.
On Instagram, the “Coffee” singer shared a photo of her in the studio and the new limited edition vinyl with the caption that reads, “cant believe its been 5 years <3 cant wait to make the next one.”
Originally released on October 16, 2020, under her label Dirty Hit, the “Coffee” singer’s debut album marks a departure from her earlier lo-fi bedroom pop sound and leans toward a more guitar-driven, alternative rock style. The album peaked at the No. 189 position on the Billboard 200 chart.
The album acts as a personal time capsule, delving into themes of romantic relationships, trauma, and self-harm. While writing it, she sought lyrical guidance from her labelmate Matty Healy of The 1975.
The vinyl is priced at GBP 50 or roughly PHP 3,880. The release will only be available until Sunday, November 16 at 2:00 AM (PH Time).
