On October 25, 2026, alternative pop rock band Over October announced the departure of rhythm guitarist Anton Rodriguez.

“To our fans, friends, and community – the Octobears. Moving forward, Anton will no longer be a part of Over October,” the band shared on Instagram. “Sadly, our paths are no longer aligned. We wish him all the best as he focuses on other priorities.”

Rodriguez becomes the second member to part ways with the band, following drummer Janessa Genorimo’s announcement of her exit in July.

October has been an eventful month and a “rollercoaster ride of emotions,” as the band described it. Earlier this month, the band celebrated its 12th anniversary with a milestone concert at New Frontier Theater in Cubao, Quezon City. The concert was Geronimo’s final appearance with the band.

“We are grateful for the music and memories we’ve shared, and we appreciate your understanding and support as we enter this new chapter,” the band added.

The band also dropped its latest single, “Nariyan Ka Pa Ba,” following the release of “Manatili” in April.

Over October will continue with Josh Buizon on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Josh Lua on rhythm guitar, and Joric Canlas on bass.
