Rising P-pop girl group VVINK drops their debut full-length album, IT STARTS WITH A WINK – The First Full Album, released under FlipMusic.
The 14-track record is more than just a collection of summer pop anthems, but a project that is cohesive with a narrative that is “meant to be experienced from beginning to end,” according to the official press release.
The record is built around the phrase “It Starts With A Wink,” drawing from the idea of a secret signal between people. More or less, it reflects an unspoken feeling and understanding that ultimately sparks a connection.
In the same way, the record captures the emotions, humor, awkward sensibilities, friendships, and vulnerabilities of young Filipino adulthood, making it truly relatable to today’s generation.
The record features a stacked roster of producers and composers, led by FlipMusic under the direction of Head Music Producer Julius James “Bojam” de Belen, who worked on BINI’s Talaarawan, Sarah Geronimo’s “Tala” and “Ikot-Ikot,” and the original soundtrack of Diary ng Panget.
Additionally, the team behind the record also includes Nica Del Rosario (Sarah Geronimo’s “Tala,” BINI’s “Na Na Na” and “Karera”), Myk Conchada (BINI’s “I Feel Good” and “Salamin, Salamin”), and VVINK’s own Angelika (BINI’s “Pantropiko”), the record is a testament to the dedication and years of experience of everyone involved across all aspects of songwriting, artist development, and arrangement.

Before the release of their full-length album, VVINK — composed of members Angelika, Ayaka, Jean, Mariel, and Odri have made their presence known almost a year in the making since their debut in July 2025.
