Gracie Abrams gears up for her new music era with the announcement of her third studio album, Daughter from Hell, to be released on July 17, 2026, via Interscope Records.
The “That’s So True” singer officially announced the project on May 12 (PH Time), which she co-produced and co-wrote with Aaron Dessner, her longtime collaborator. They both worked together on her previous two records, Good Riddance (2023) and The Secrets of Us (2024).
“My third album is out July 17. Hit the Wall this Thursday night. Whoa whoa whoa. Freaking out. I am so ready for it to be yours,” Abrams says on Instagram.
Daughter from Hell will feature its lead single, “Hit the Wall,” releasing on May 15 (PH Time). As of this writing, no official tracklist has been revealed, but the record will include 16 songs. It was recorded during Abrams’ free time between the dates for ‘The Secret of Us Tour.’
The project was first teased in March with Abrams posting clips of her working in the studio with Dessner and Grammy-nominated recording engineer Bella Blasko. The first snippet of “Hit the Wall” was then revealed through Abrams recording a clip of parts of the song on her phone.
Beyond music, Abrams is set to make her film acting debut in the A24 period drama, Please, directed by Halina Reijn. She will star opposite Tom Burke (Mank, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga).
