Rising singer-songwriter Malcolm Todd drops his latest single, “I Saw Your Face” — his second release of the year.
“I Saw Your Face” follows his single “Breathe,” which was released in March and became his highest debut so far, as it reached the Top 50 on Spotify on its first day.
The single talks about grieving for a relationship you’re still in and you know isn’t right. It captures the feeling of struggling to say what you want to say, with the idea of leaving also giving pain, despite it being your choice.
It is accompanied by a music video co-directed by Todd and Aidan Cullen. “I Saw Your Face” is expected to appear on his forthcoming sophomore album, Do That Again, which will also include “Breathe.”
The indie pop/alternative R&B singer-songwriter is slowly rising in the ranks in the industry, having quickly gained attention thanks to his songs “Art House” and “Roommates” going viral on TikTok. He released his self-titled debut studio album, Malcolm Todd, in 2025, and featured the single “Chest Pain (I Love),” which became his first entry on the Billboard Hot 100.
Meanwhile, “Earrings,” a track from his 2024 debut mixtape, Sweet Boy, resurged into popularity through fan rediscovery two years later. As of this writing, it climbed as high as No. 40 on the Billboard Hot 100.
