KAIA have just been awarded with the Listener’s Choice award at the Billboard Philippines Women In Music 2026.

The P-pop quintet — comprised of Charice, Angela, Alexa, Sophia, and Charlotte — expressed their gratitude to their fanbase of ZAIA for supporting them amidst their musical journey, sharing “Sobrang unexpected po to (This is so unexpected.) But thank you to everyone na nagsusupporta sa (who has supported the) music ng (of) KAIA –- and not just KAIA, but the female pop industry and OPM as a whole,” said Sophia.

“Of course, to our producer Zack Tabudlo, thank you so much for trusting our potential.” added Hermoso. “Very unexpected po yung song na ito (this song), nandun na po kami sa journey namin (we were already at a part of our journey) where we felt very, very lost. And then nagkaroon kami ng isang message galing kay Zack (we got a message from Zack), na (saying that) he believes in our potential and that he wants to work with us. We’re very very grateful for that,” she mentioned –– before giving a shoutout to their fanbase of ZAIA, and their team at Sony Music Philippines.

KAIA was awarded the Listener’s Choice award for their hit single “TANGA” –– a track that was recognized by Billboard Philippines as one of the 25 best OPM songs of 2025. In our writeup for the track, it was “noted as the perfect example of P-pop excellence,” having lured us in “with its infectious chorus, catchy hooks, and the quintet’s heavenly vocals all throughout.” An undeniable earworm, “TANGA” is an intriguing and equally promising look at what we could expect from KAIA moving forward — brewing anticipation for their next release, whenever that may arrive.
