Ashtine Olviga accepts the People’s Choice Award at Billboard Philippines Women In Music 2026.

The award is presented by singer-songwriter and actor Wilbert Ross.

Giving the power to the people in this fan-voted category, the People’s Choice Award recognizes the most influential Filipinas in today’s music scene — from rising stars to talented singer-songwriters — for their contributions, achievements, and artistry.

The Ang Mutya ang Section E star accepted the award for being recognized as one of the most influential Filipinas in today’s music scene. “Bago po ang lahat, gusto ko po magpasalamat sa Diyos kasi natutuwa lang ako na wala ako dito kung hindi dahil sa Kanya,” she said as she expressed her gratitude.

(Before anything else, I would like to thank God, because I’m truly grateful and happy — I wouldn’t be here if not for Him.)

“Gusto ko lang i-dedicate‘tong award na ito para sa mga taong nanangarap na, alam mo ‘yung mga mahihiyain, kasi dun ako nag-start. Masasabi ko lang na kaya niyo basta magtiwala lang kayo sa sarili niyo at magtiwala kayo sa Panginoon, magagawa niyo,” she concludes her speech.

(I would like to dedicate this award to those people who have dreams, especially the shy ones, because that’s where I started. All I can say is that you can do it — if you just believe in yourselves and trust in the Lord, you can achieve it.)
