Following the release of their second album, Love On Loop, Lola Amour have made a comeback to their indie roots with their newly released single, “Lambing.”

Written by all members of the group, “Lambing” also features production by the band, as well as PhD, Peter Wallevik, and Daniel Davidsen. The track sees the group embrace the jazz-funk soundscape that they’ve become beloved for once more, tackling themes of yearning and self-control in one anthem for all the yearners out there. Additionally, a special music video for “Lambing” is scheduled to be released this upcoming Sunday (April 12, 2026) on the band’s official YouTube channel.

In the meantime, check out the official lyric video below:

News of the group’s newly announced single was first shared via their official social media platforms, wherein they revealed the track’s cover art alongside its release date of April 8, 2026. “Para sa mga kaibigan niyong masyadong malambing paminsan-minsan… kahit wala naman sa lugar (For those friends of yours who get overly affectionate sometimes… even when it’s not appropriate),” wrote the beloved band in their caption.

Lola Amour also shared more details about how the track came to life in their official Facebook group with their fanbase of Apo’s, teasing it as the beginning of a brand new chapter of the band. “We’re excited to announce that this new song is our first ever big move since we went back to indie, which has been worked on entirely by the Lola Amour band members and in-house team without the help of a major label. That’s something we haven’t done in 6 years!” wrote lead vocalist Pio Dumayas before continuing, “…On behalf of the Lola [Amour] team, i just wanna let you know that we can’t wait to share this new chapter with you guys.”

“Lambing” marks Lola Amour’s first musical release since their second full-length album, Love On Loop, which was released last August 15, 2025. The album was supported by the singles “Dance With My Mistakes,” “The Moment” (feat. KOKORO of Psychic Fever), and the Filipino Music Awards-nominated track, “Misbehave.” The album was recognized by Billboard Philippines as one of the best albums of 2025, with praise for “delivering a sleek, immaculately paced album that traces love’s cyclical highs and lows with precision.”
