To celebrate the upcoming release of their album ARIRANG and its accompanying tour, BTS have just announced ‘THE CITY: ARIRANG‘ experience.
News of the forthcoming experience was shared via the official WeVerse page of the K-pop icons, wherein details of the immersive experience were officially revealed to the public. According to the post, the upcoming live experience “is designed to be a place where we celebrate BTS’s new album release and their new world tour together.” It was also stated that there will be several activations (with a variety of programs) that will take place throughout each city to allow fans to fully partake in the festivities surrounding the group’s new album and overall message.
Coinciding with the first show of their upcoming world tour, BTS’ THE CITY: ARIRANG will kick off in Seoul, with activations set for locations in Sungnyemun Gate at N. Seoul Tower, Yeouido Hangang Park, Dongdaemun Design Plaza, as well as areas in Jongno-gu, Jung-gu, and Yongsan-gu. Certain activations have also been named already, with a MEDIA FACADE, LOVE SONG LOUNGE, ARMY MADANG, and a LOVE QUARTER already announced, though more details are expected to be announced soon as it continues in more cities.
BTS’ ARIRANG stands as the group’s sixth Korean-language album and tenth overall, marking their first new release in over three years. To promote the record, the group is set to embark on the ARIRANG World Tour, which will span 82 dates in 34 cities across 23 countries. The tour is set to hit the Philippines in 2027, with two shows scheduled for March 13 and March 14, 2027 with details regarding ticketing and the show’s venue yet to be announced.
Last year, the group released their first-ever live album commemorating their Permission To Dance On Stage World Tour, aptly titled Permission To Dance On Stage – Live. The album was released in July 18, 2025, and features twenty-two tracks — including their biggest hits like “Life Goes On,” “Butter,” “Dynamite,” and several others.
