Japanese hospitality company Credo Holdings Co., Ltd. has officially opened up Billboard LIVE Taipei.

The newly launched live music venue opened its doors on the 7th floor of “ATT 4 FUN” in Taipei’s Xinyi District on November 18, 2025, featuring a headlining performance by Japanese singer and actress Mika Nakashima. Nakashima performed four shows across two dates (all of which were sold out), and also partook in the venue’s opening ceremony and ribbon-cutting event done in partnership with Taiwan’s Credo Entertainment.

“It is a great honor to be invited to perform the very first show at this memorable venue,” said Nakashima about participating in the event, wherein she was joined by Credo Holdings’ CEO, Koichi Shirai, and Masato Kitaguchi, the Executive Producer of Billboard Live TAIPEI. In the event, commemorative gifts were also presented, with the Japanese musician being gifted “Kaki (Persimmon),” a glass art piece by Ruri Kobo by Shirai, with the latter explaining, “The word “Kaki” (柿 – persimmon) shares the same pronunciation as “Kaki”‘嘉来 – good fortune to come.’ We chose this piece as a wish for continued good luck and harmony for her.”

For her opening set of performances at the venue, Nakashima performed her signature hit song, “Hanataba,” followed by a series of beloved tracks from her discography, including “Sakura-iro Mau Koro,” “Glamorous Sky,” and “Love is Ecstasy.” Aside from her live performance, she also took to the stage to offer quips and commentary regarding the dishes served at the event, and interacted with fans in attendance.

The newly launched Billboard Live TAIPEI features a specialized menu with cuisine supervised by Chef Yoshifumi Kishigami and its alcohol program overseen by Mr. Hsu Chen-Hsuan to ensure top-quality experiences in both the service and dining circuit. With the venue offering “an unparalleled, never-before-experienced fusion of live music and premium dining,” it carries a seating capacity of 288 seats, a state-of-the-art sound system (featuring JBL’s flagship audio systems), and the highest-grade lighting possible, to offer guests and visitors an intimate environment perfectly suited for world-class performances.

In addition to showcasing top artists from all across Asia and the rest of the world, the venue aims to open its door to promote local talent in the area to shine as part of its ethos in contributing to the evolution of Taiwan’s music scene. In the near future, “Billboard Live TAIPEI” is set to host a diverse lineup of international performers very soon — featuring artists such as Nathan East, Vivian Hsu (Xu Ruo Xuan), Do As Infinity, Sunwoo
