A Guide To Film Concerts PH’s ‘How to Train Your Dragon In Concert’
Here’s what you need to know before you catch a once-in-a-lifetime musical experience featuring the beloved 2010 DreamWorks animated film.

Film Concerts PH‘s How to Train Your Dragon In Concert is right around the corner, and fans are eager to be immersed in the music of the beloved DreamWorks animated film through John Powell’s Academy Award–nominated score performed live by the Filharmonika Orchestra.
Happening on December 13 and 14, 2025, at The Theatre at Solaire, the concert is a wonderful way to bring friends, families, and fans of all ages together, while staying in the spirit of the holiday season.
Released in 2010, How to Train Your Dragon is touted as one of the best animated films of the 21st century, with its storytelling and animation. It follows an underdog story centering on Hiccup from the island of Berk. As the son of the chief of their clan, there are a lot of expectations put upon him to become a Viking fighting dragons. However, with his opposing and progressive views, he befriends Toothless, an injured dragon, who becomes a catalyst for the future of the island and their way of life.
How To Get Tickets
Limited tickets are still available exclusively through Film Concerts PH’s official ticketing partner, Ticketworld.com.ph. Tickets for the shows are as follows: PHP 1,999 for TIER E – Fishlegs, PHP 2,999 for TIER D – Snotlout, PHP 4,499 for TIER C – Astrid, PHP 5,999 for TIER B – Hiccup, and PHP 6,999 for TIER A – Toothless. Prices are exclusive of Ticketworld’s 3% service charge.
Showtimes are available for December 13 at 2:00 PM and December 14 at 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM. A special bundle is also offered for attendees who want a sweet deal. With the FOUR TO SOAR bundle, fans who buy three tickets will get one free, which is valid for Hiccup (Tier B) and Astrid (Tier C) seats for the December 14, 6:00 PM show only.
Attendees can present their tickets, both printed and digital, to ushers upon arrival.
How To Get To The Venue
The Theatre at Solaire is located at Entertainment City, Aseana Avenue, Parañaque City. Guests can get to the venue via Grab or any other ride-hailing app, with public transportation options are also available.
Guests are recommended to arrive at least 30 minutes before the concert starts to make it easy to find seating and experience the pre-show activities. Most importantly, with the holiday rush already being felt with the traffic around Metro Manila, it’s best to leave your homes early and not be late.
What To Expect
Just like any concert of the same vein, the entirety of How to Train Your Dragon and other visuals will be projected on a large screen, with the live orchestra playing the key musical moments in the film. Film Concerts PH has held concerts for various pop culture franchises such as Demon Slayer, One Piece, and Star Wars.
Filharmonika Orchestra will lead the charge with the spotlight on guest conductor Thanapol Setabrahmana. The Thai multi-hyphenate is also a composer and arranger of classical, contemporary, and cross-genre music. With numerous achievements under his belt, he has found recognition internationally and has led performances in over 17 countries.
Children ages 3 and above may attend the concert when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. However, disruptive children may be asked to leave the theater so that other guests can enjoy the show.
There is no strict dress code for the concert; however, smart casual attire is recommended. Additionally, attendees are even encouraged to take photos and come in costume, cosplaying as their favorite characters.
