YENA To Join Forces With Hatsune Miku On New Single “STAR!”
Forces of Vocaloid and K-pop are teaming up for a special single.

Yesterday (November 19, 2025), it was announced that K-popK-PopA genre of South Korean popular music known for polished production, intricate choreography, and elaborate visuals, built around trainee systems and global fandoms. K-pop has a huge following in theGo to K-Pop Glossary soloist Choi Yena (otherwise known mononymously as YENA) is set to join forces with the Vocaloid icon Hatsune Miku on a fresh track titled “STAR!” Set to come out on November 26, 2025, the new single was announced through a music video teaser on YENA’s official YouTube account, previewing the bright bubblegum EDM sound of the upcoming track.

For YENA, this follows her recently released five-track EPEPShort for extended play, a collection of songs longer than a single but shorter than a full album, typically containing three to six tracks. Artists use EPs to introduce theirGo to EP Glossary Blooming Wings, which she debuted under YUEHUA Entertainment. Here, the former I*ZONE idol produced some of her biggest hits to date, like “Being a Good Girl Hurts” and “Anyone But You” with MIRYO of second-generation K-pop idol group Brown Eyed Girls.
Also recently, Miku brought her ‘MIKU EXPO‘ concert experience to Manila last November 16 (Sunday) for the Asia Leg of her international tour. Here, the Vocaloid character brought some of her biggest hits to the SM Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City.
Produced by Crypton Future Media in 2007, Hatsune Miku is a music software that allows users to create their own songs by entering lyrics and melodies. Fellow Vocaloid characters with similar programming but alternative vocal tones include Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, MEIKO, and KAITO.
