Just before the year comes to an end, BINI continue to turn up the heat with their latest album, titled FLAMES.
The newly released record sees the Nation’s Girl Group taking inspiration from the childhood game of the same name, whilst tackling themes of love, empowerment, and femininity — all of which stay true to their artistry and musical identity. Weaving through the genres of bubblegum pop and R&B, the album contains a total of seven tracks, including the previously released singles “Shagidi,” “First Luv,” and “Paruparo,” and new additions such as “Infinity,” “Katabi,” “Bikini,” and the key focus track, “Sweet Tooth.”
The album features production from renowned producers like Greg Shilling, Lindgren, Kajo, Leather Jacket, and Tommy Brown, as well as Star Music’s very own Jonathan Manalo. Songwriting credits on the record include contributions from Angela Ken, Dwta, Kiana Valenciano, and some of BINI’s members themselves, like Jhoanna, Stacey, and Mikha.
Together with the album’s release, a special music video for “Sweet Tooth” was also dropped, featuring BINI’s members Jhoanna, Aiah, Stacey, Mikha, Sheena, Gwen, Maloi, and Colet. The visualizer was directed by Kerbs Balagtas, and produced by YouMeUs MNL.
