On December 15, 2025, Filipino rapper/songwriter/producer Jon Protege is set to unveil his second album, titled The Wiseman, The Mirror, & The Shadow. The first pre-release single of the album, “The Deep End,” and its accompanying music video are set to come out on November 30.

“While details remain under wraps, the album draws from three symbolic forces — the ‘Wiseman,’ ‘Mirror,’ and ‘Shadow’ — representing the aspirational future self, the flawed present self, and the wounded past self,” the upcoming record was explained in an official press release, “Together, they shape a project centered on self-confrontation, identity across time, and the lifelong work of integrating every version of who we are.”

Additionally, in the same press release, it was mentioned that Protege is set to team up with fellow artists Curtismith, Pat Jamlang, Six the Northstar, and Ninno — the latter contributing to the co-production as well.

As aforementioned, this would be the former battle rapper’s second album to date, following the release of his debut piece, Favorite Life, on October 30, 2024. This ten-track record was written purely in English and was a medium of storytelling for the artist’s self-discovery and growth.
