geiko is back with a brand new single, entitled “No Way Now.”
Released on October 10, 2025 (Friday), the new song from the Filipino indie pop singer-songwriter is notable for its emotive, guitar-driven instrumentals and dreamy atmosphere. In a post on geiko’s official social media, the song is revealed to be about a personal story of a love that was not meant to be.
“This song was written a month after we decided to end the story you wanted to write with me and it’s about the pain that lingered on for 6 years,” stated the “sol at luna” singer upon the release of the new single. “You’ve taught me many lessons and inspired me to always do better as a person. For that, I thank you.”
“No Way Now” is geiko’s third release of year so far. It follows her previous single “Palapit Sa Ü,” which came out on May 16, 2025. Additionally, it also follows her Quietly EP — a collection of different versions of geiko’s 2024 single “Nang Tahimik.” The EP notably contains a lullaby version, an instrumental version, as well as a “Sa Bahay Kubo” version.
Hailing from Dagupan City, Pangasinan, geiko is best known for her songs “sol at luna,” “anxious heart (don’t be tired of me),” “ANXIOUS HEART,” “060422,” and more.
