JID To Bring ‘GOD DOES LIKE’ World Tour To Manila This 2026

Today (October 1, 2025), it was announced that Atlanta-raised hip-hopHip-HopA cultural movement and music genre that began in the Bronx in the 1970s, built on rapping, DJing, beatmaking, and sampling. Hip-hop has a strong Filipino scene, with artists writingGo to Hip-Hop Glossary hitmaker JID is set to bring his upcoming ‘GOD DOES LIKE’ World Tour to Asia, with a stop in Manila in 2026. Marking his first-ever concert in the Philippines, the show will take place on May 30 (Saturday), 2026, at the Podium Hall, Ortigas Center.
As aforementioned, the concert reveal comes in tandem with the announcement of the Asia leg of the artist’s upcoming ‘GOD DOES LIKE’ World TourWorld TourA series of concerts held across multiple countries and continents, usually to support a new album or career milestone. This follows the recent debut of JID’s fourth and latest full-length album God Does Like Ugly, which was released on August 8, 2025. With fifteen tracks, the album centers on a Southern hip-hop and trap sound and offers an introspective look into the emcee’s upbringing through vulnerable and poetic songwriting. Furthermore, the full-length feature involves collaborative pieces with some of the biggest names of hip-hop today, from Westside Gunn to Vince Staples.
