Shanti Dope has just released his latest single of the year, with a brand new track titled “Industriya.”
The hard-hitting single was dropped on all digital and streaming platforms earlier last Friday (September 26, 2025), and showcases Shanti Dope at his most reflective, especially with regards to his observations about the present day music scene. On the track, he shares his musings about how much it has changed over the years, noting it’s unspoken darker side, his influence that’s been replicated, and several other points. Even on the track’s final line, his frustrations become even more clear as he exclaims, “Pukininginang industriya to ginawa ko lang yung musika ko pero dahil lang hindi ko pinayagang mauto din ako masaya ka abusuhin ako, Tanginang yan.” (This fucking industry — I just made my music, but because I didn’t let them fool me, you’re happy to try and abuse me. Fuck them.)
