XG are back with a brand new single, entitled “GALA.”
Released on September 19, 2025 (Friday) via XGALX, the latest song from the Japanese global girl group is described as “a high-energy runway anthem driven by futuristic sound and striking visual imagery, notable for its “bold synthesizer tones and danceable beat” courtesy of “fast-paced house rhythms” that “reimagine the world of fashion, breaking away from convention and presenting a new set of values through XG’s unique perspective.” It serves as a pre-release single from their upcoming debut studio album, which is set to come out on January 23, 2026 (Friday).
Alongside the single’s release, XG are set to unveil an accompanying music video for “GALA” later at 5:00 PM (PHT). Tune in to the premiere below:
“GALA” serves as the follow-up to XG’s first live album, XG 1st WORLD TOUR “The first HOWL” Live, which was released last August 8, 2025. Additionally, it also follows their previous single “MILLION PLACES,” which was released last May 14, 2025 to coincide and commemorate the success and the finale of XG’s first world tour, held on the same day at the world-famous Tokyo Dome in Japan.
“[‘MILLION PLACES’] captures the precious moments and memories we experienced during our world tour connecting with ALPHAZ all around the world, crossing borders, and embracing different cultures through music,” shared XG member CHISA in an exclusive interview with Billboard Philippines. “To us, this song represents a year of growth and is a heartfelt expression of all the gratitude we feel.”
