ONE OR EIGHT are back with a new single, entitled “365.” The brand new track from the rising Japanese boy group was released on June 18, 2025 (Wednesday).
According to a press statement, the song “blends a captivating melody with a distinctive, resonant beat as it expresses a heartfelt desire to be by a loved one’s side every day of the year.” In addition, it is also a tribute to the group’s fans — the 1DERZ — as it serves as “a vow to maintain an unbreakable bond that will carry far into the future.”
“365” serves as the follow-up to ONE OR EIGHT’s previous single “DSTM,” which came out on March 19, 2025. Most significantly, “365” was written by Nasri, who is the lead vocalist and songwriter of the band Magic! — the hitmakers behind the 2013 Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper “Rude.” Nasri is known for being a songwriting work with other artists such as Justin Bieber, Pitbull, Shakira, and more. “I was so happy to find out that ONE OR EIGHT chose our song ‘365’ that I wrote with my good friend Noah [Barer],” he stated, noting his newfound friendship with the group. “It’s the perfect song for them and I hope their fans love it as much as we do.”
“From the moment Mosaic and I produced the instrumental, I knew we had something special,” stated the track’s co-producer Noah Barer, noting how Nasri masterfully brought the song to life with the “365” concept in mind. “Then ONE OR EIGHT jumped in — an electrifying young group with serious style and swagger — and put their own spin on it, turning it into something truly undeniable.”
