The Smashing Pumpkins are finally making their return to the Philippines after more than a decade. The news was announced on May 13, 2025 (Tuesday) by live event organizers PULP Live World, revealing that the Grammy-winning alternative rock band is set to hold a concert in Manila later this year.

The upcoming show from the “1979” hitmakers is set to happen this September 29, 2025 (Monday) at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. It will serve as part of the band’s ‘Rock Invasion’ 2025 world tour, which will also see multiple stops in Japan, as well as dates in Thailand and Bahrain.

Tickets to the Manila stop of the tour are priced from PHP 1,800 to PHP 8,800, with VIP A ticketholders receiving an official poster and souvenir ID, as well as having priority entry into the venue. Fans can get tickets early during a pre-sale period on May 31, 2025 (Saturday) from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM (PHT). Following this, the general sale period will start on June 1, 2025 (Sunday) at 12:00 PM (PHT). All tickets will be available via TicketNet.

The Smashing Pumpkins’ upcoming concert in the Philippines this 2025 will serve as their second overall, happening more than 13 years after the Manila stop of their ‘Oceania’ world tour. Their first concert in Manila was held last August 8, 2012, also at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Notably, the band’s 2025 concert in Manila coincides with the 30th anniversary year of their iconic third studio album Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness. It was released on October 24, 1995.
