Ayala Land and Makati City are ringing in the new year with some of OPM’s game-changers and most renowned artists.
As part of its Make It Makati campaign, the city is set to host a grand New Year’s Eve countdown event entitled Radiating On Top on December 31, 2024, along Ayala Avenue between Manila Peninsula and Shangri-La Makati. The affair will be open to the public beginning at 12 noon, during which people can enjoy delicious food from a variety of merchants and stalls before the main program begins at 6:00 PM.
Reflecting Makati’s essence as a progressive and innovative city is the lineup of Radiating On Top, which features some of this year’s leading game-changers as well as longtime pillars of Philippine music. Set to perform that evening are the Nation’s Girl Group BINI, viral hitmakers Lola Amour, “Mr. Pure Energy” Gary Valenciano, hip-hop trailblazer Gloc-9, and Pinoy Rock icon Bamboo. Also gracing the Ayala Avenue stage with their talents are internationally renowned drag queen Marina Summers, as well as various theater artists from such productions as One More Chance, Buruguduystunstugudunstuy, Jepoy & The Magic Circle, and more. The show promises to feature full sets from each performer, with acclaimed director Paolo Valenciano at the helm of the entire night’s festivities, which will culminate in a countdown into the new year.
While admission to the event is free of charge, there will be special ticketed sections for those who want to experience the live performances up close or in a mosh pit. These tickets are available here.
